According to the 2015 Investment News, Moss Adams Adviser Compensation and Staffing Study released Sept. 7th, a direct correlation can be identified between adviser designations and pay.
Have you ever asked yourself if all that extra blood, sweat and tears was worth it? Are you considering a CFA, CPA, CFP, Series 7 or other designation? Maybe you have one and are considering a second. According to this study, going for that second designation does not necessarily result in higher pay. However, advisers with a designation make 20% or more annually than those without.
